Hi,

We are currently dropping tattoos for different treatment sites as we implement SGRT and were wondering what other centres do for patients who come back for further Radiotherapy to the same area as treated previously.
Do you keep the previous SGRT reference surface to help with set up for the subsequent treatment to minimise overlap or dose to nearby OAR? We are also wondering if/how long to keep the patient surface and monitoring data for and if this data is of clinical benefit.

i think they would rely on the treatment planning system. at the moment we archive the SGRT surfaces. i think we are probably not mandated to in the same way as radiographic images as it is non ionising though. i do feel it is beneficial to have a record (e.g. in OIS) that the patient was treated using SGRT though
